Alex Knell

Studied at Goldsmiths and the Royal Academy of Art, London.

Knell’s work is preoccupied with moments of hope, doubt, possibility & potential.

Woking in different media, including oil paint, text, installation and sound, his work often seeks to open a dialogue with the viewer plunging them into paradoxical visual, aural or conceptual experiences. Sometimes tapping into elusive evocations of nostalgia or ambiguous interpretations of history.

Knell has exhibited in London, New York and across Europe.
